These terms apply to server owners and administrators who add Judicium, to server members in a Discord server where Judicium is active, and to anyone who interacts with Judicium directly, such as through a support ticket or ban appeal. You must comply with Discord's own Terms of Service as well as these terms.
Judicium is a Discord bot that provides anti-bot, anti-raid, and anti-nuke protection, including image and link scanning, a cross-server blacklist, join-pattern analysis, and moderation tools. Server owners and administrators choose which features to enable and configure the punishments applied when a violation is detected.
Judicium's detections (including image hashing, link scanning, and behavioral heuristics) are automated and can produce false positives. A ban, kick, or blacklist entry applied by Judicium is not a determination of guilt, and any affected user can submit an appeal through the ticket system.
Because Judicium shares detection and ban data across every server where it is active, an action taken in one server (manual or automatic) can result in punishment in other servers running Judicium. By enabling Judicium's global protection features, you accept that your server will enforce blacklist entries created elsewhere.
Users who are banned, kicked, or blacklisted may appeal through Judicium's ticket system, subject to the cooldown period between appeal attempts. Appeal decisions are made at the discretion of Judicium's staff and, where applicable, the relevant server's administrators.
Judicium is provided as-is, without guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Features, detection thresholds, and punishment defaults may change over time as protection methods are improved. We may suspend or remove Judicium from a server that abuses its features or violates these terms.
Judicium is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from false positives, missed detections, service interruptions, or actions taken by server staff using Judicium's tools.
We may update these terms as Judicium's features change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Judicium after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
You may not make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated accusations against Judicium, the Judicium team, its developers, or its affiliates. This includes, but is not limited to:
If you have a legitimate concern about Judicium, you must raise it through official support channels (our support server, DM bridge, or ticket system). We are committed to addressing genuine issues in good faith.
Knowingly or recklessly violating this clause may result in:
Judicium is designed for general-purpose community protection and may not be added to servers whose primary purpose is the distribution, promotion, or hosting of Not Safe For Work (NSFW) content, including but not limited to pornography, sexually explicit material, or gore. If we determine that Judicium is being used in such a server, we reserve the right to remove the bot from that server and, if warranted, disable its functionality globally for that installation. Repeated or deliberate violations may result in the server being blacklisted from using Judicium.
You may not intentionally test, stress-test, or simulate nuke or raid attacks against Judicium for the purpose of evaluating its detection or punishment mechanisms, whether in a live server or in a controlled environment, without our prior written authorisation. Any such activity that disrupts normal server operations, triggers false lockdowns, or affects other servers via the global blacklist constitutes a violation of these terms. Violations may lead to immediate removal of the bot and permanent blacklisting of the offending server or user.
You may not use Judicium in any way that is intended to harm, harass, or deceive other users, nor to bypass Discord's Terms of Service or applicable laws. This includes using Judicium's moderation commands to falsely blacklist, timeout, or ban users without a legitimate basis.
If Judicium detects content that may constitute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or other illegal material, we will take appropriate action, which may include reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or other law enforcement authorities, and cooperating with any subsequent investigation.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Discord and Judicium. By using Judicium, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.
These terms shall be governed by the laws of Türkiye. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally through our support server. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Türkiye.
You may not use Judicium to violate any applicable law or regulation, including but not limited to laws regarding harassment, defamation, fraud, or intellectual property. You may not use Judicium to harass, bully, threaten, or discriminate against any individual or group, nor to facilitate or encourage such behavior.
You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract the source code of Judicium, nor may you attempt to circumvent its security, detection, or punishment mechanisms for any purpose other than a legitimate, authorised appeal process. Any attempts to exploit, bypass, or overwhelm the bot's systems constitute a material breach of these terms.
You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times while using Judicium. Any violation of Discord's terms that is facilitated or enabled by Judicium is your sole responsibility.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Judicium team, its developers, and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:
This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of these Terms and your use of Judicium.
You may stop using Judicium at any time by removing the bot from your Discord server. Upon removal, we will cease processing new events from that server.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Judicium (including removing the bot from your server and/or blacklisting your server from future use) at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct that we, in our sole discretion, believe violates these terms, poses a security risk, or is otherwise harmful to us, other users, or third parties. We are not liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access.
Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
Judicium is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that:
We will not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms where such failure arises from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, mechanical, electronic, or communications failure, natural disasters, acts of war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, or failure of third-party services (including Discord's API).
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be deemed modified so that it is enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision, nor will it prevent us from enforcing that right or provision in the future.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Transparency Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of Judicium and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
To deliver important service updates, security alerts, policy changes, or critical announcements, Judicium's developers may use administrative commands to send a message to a specific channel within a server where Judicium is present, provided they know the channel ID. Such messages will appear as follows:
These communications are strictly limited to service-related matters and will not be used for unsolicited advertising, unrelated promotions, or personal messages. Server owners may prevent these messages from appearing in their server by removing Judicium from their server or, where the bot does not require channel-specific permissions, by removing the bot's Send Messages permission in the target channel via Discord's permission system.
Our official support server is governed by the Judicium Support Server Policy, which supplements these Terms of Service. By joining or participating in the support server, you agree to comply with both these Terms and the Support Server Policy.
Any violation of these Terms of Service or the Support Server Policy that occurs within the support server including, but not limited to, harassment of staff, abuse of the ticket system, submission of false appeals, or disruptive behavior may result in enforcement actions ranging from a warning to the immediate blacklisting of the offending user and/or the Discord server(s) they represent from using Judicium globally. Such decisions are at our sole discretion.
Questions about these terms can be sent through our support server.
