This policy covers data collected by Judicium while it operates in a Discord server that has enabled its
protection features. It does not cover Discord itself, which has its own
privacy policy.
For a shorter, plain-language summary, see the
Transparency page.
Using Judicium also means accepting our
Terms of Service.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to members of Discord servers where Judicium is active, and to anyone who
interacts with Judicium directly, for example by opening a support ticket or submitting a ban appeal.
Server owners choose whether to enable Judicium's protection features and what punishments to apply;
Judicium only stores data related to security enforcement, not general server activity.
2. Data we collect
Judicium only stores data connected to a security detection, ban, appeal, or support ticket. Users who have never triggered a flag do not have a record in our permanent ban databases.
Discord user ID and username, to identify and maintain blacklist entries.
The server ID where a detection occurred, so staff can investigate raids or repeated incidents.
The message ID (and, in some flagged cases, the message content) that triggered a detection, such as a scam link.
Perceptual hashes of images flagged as scams. We store the mathematical hash used for matching, not the original image file.
For accounts flagged as "Hacked," a temporary backup of the member's roles, so permissions can be restored once the account is secured and an appeal is granted.
Notes staff add to a user's case during moderation, tickets, or appeals.
Ticket and appeal conversation transcripts, archived for quality assurance.
A unique Ban ID linking a case to its appeal ticket.
If a previously banned user is flagged again, the earlier case is kept in that user's history rather than deleted.
Aggregate detection counts (e.g. how many scams were blocked on a given day), which are not tied to any individual user.
3. How we use this data
To detect and act on known scammers and malicious bot accounts across every server Judicium protects.
To let a flagged user appeal a ban or hacked-account flag and have staff review the specific case.
To help server staff investigate raids, repeat offenders, and specific scam campaigns.
To monitor overall detection performance using aggregate, non-identifying statistics.
4. Data sharing
Blacklist and detection data is shared across all servers that have Judicium's protection enabled, so a
user flagged in one server is automatically recognized in others. We do not sell data, and we do not
share it with advertisers or unrelated third parties. Our database is private and accessible only to
authorized bot developers and high-level administrators.
5. Data retention
Cases, server blacklists, scammer records, ban records, exploit attempt records, MSID records, snapshots, user history, and audit logs are kept until they are removed manually. They are not automatically deleted.
Bot logs, debug logs, console logs, token audit logs, and daily analytics are deleted automatically after 365 days. Only entries older than 365 days are removed. Newer entries remain.
Rotated bot log backups are deleted automatically when their last write is over 365 days old.
Message contents are deleted from Discord when a moderation action purges a user's messages. The bot does not keep a separate copy of message contents in its logs.
If you believe your data should be reviewed or removed, contact us using the details in Section 9.
6. Your options
You can appeal a ban or hacked-account flag directly through Judicium's ticket system.
You can request a copy of, or the deletion of, data tied to your case by contacting us through our support server.
If your appeal is granted, associated punishment data tied to the resolved case is updated to reflect that outcome.
7. Children's privacy
Judicium operates within Discord and follows Discord's own age requirements. We do not knowingly collect
data from users below Discord's minimum age requirement outside of what Discord itself already
collects.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Judicium's features change. Material changes will be reflected on this
page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Judicium after changes are posted means you
accept the revised policy.
9. Contact
Questions about this policy, or requests regarding your data, can be sent through our
support server.
